The ASP SideBreak® Scabbard is engineered to provide secure baton retention while allowing rapid tactical deployment in high-pressure situations. Designed specifically for ASP F-Series Friction Batons, the SideBreak securely holds the baton in either the retracted or expanded position, ensuring immediate readiness without sacrificing retention during dynamic confrontations.
Its patented side-draw design allows the shafts of an expanded Friction Baton to be pulled directly through the side of the scabbard for fast, instinctive deployment. The carrier rotates through seven click-stop detent positions within a 180-degree arc, preventing over-rotation beyond horizontal and maintaining baton security at all times.
An adjustable internal retention clip allows users to customize baton retention tension to match operational preference. Constructed from durable polymer, the SideBreak is built to withstand demanding duty use while maintaining lightweight comfort and reliability.
The scabbard features ASP’s exclusive Snap-Loc belt loop system, allowing attachment anywhere on a belt without removing other duty gear. Its indexed slide track and adjustable bar system fit common duty belts, dress belts, and MOLLE-compatible platforms for maximum versatility.
