If someone touches the doorknob, an ear-splitting, attention getting 120dB alarm will sound, giving you the time to respond rather than suddenly finding someone there. This will work as a very good deterrent to most people, but if for some reason this isn't enough you will know about it and can take action to properly defend yourself or get away!
This alarm will work on any non metallic door that has a metal doorknob. This alarm can also be used as a very effective personal alarm as well- if necessary, all you need to do is simply pull the out the pin attached to the metal chain.
Uses one 9-volt battery (not included).
