Stun guns use high voltage and low amperage to temporarily disable an attacker for several minutes. The stun gun does not rely on pain for results. The energy stored in the gun is dumped into the attacker’s muscles causing them to do a great deal of work rapidly. This rapid work cycle instantly depletes the attacker’s blood sugar by converting it to lactic acid. In short, he is unable to produce energy for his muscles, and his body is unable to function properly. The stun gun also interrupts the tiny neurological impulses that control and direct voluntary muscle movement. Don't let the size and voltage fool you, this little guy has a nasty bite. At only 4-1/4" tall it fits into almost any pocket. My tests put it right around the 100,000 volt gun. Comes with a belt clip but fits easily into your pocket or purse. Uses one 9 volt battery (not included).

"I am a full time Culinary Student at the Arts Institute of Houston. On February 10, 2004 I was on my way to Reliant Park because I had landed a job cooking at the Super Bowl.
As I was exiting off of 610 at the Kirby exit I blew out a tire. As I was changing it, a man approximately 6 foot, 220 pounds pulled behind my vehicle. He approached me and asked several times if I needed any help, and I repeatedly told him that I had it under control. He had alcohol on his breath and seemed to be getting annoyed with the fact that I did not need his help.
At this point I was beginning to feel uneasy of his presence. He started to reach and grabbed my arm and at this time I pulled out my 80,000 volt Mini Talon out of my pocket and stuck him once in the stomach and it stopped him. I stuck him a second time in the heart area and he fell to his knees and hit the concrete, face first.
While he was on the ground I struck him again in the back of the neck. Scared, I left the scene and then realized I needed to turn around and return. As I drove up a Police Officer and Paramedic Unit arrived too. The Paramedics brought him to with an ammonia vial. He was arrested for attempted assault.
As of this writing I have heard nothing more from this incident. Afraid for my own safety that day, I feel the Mini Talon Stun Gun possibly saved my life."
