Description

Genuine Military issue survival fire starter. Starts hundreds of fires with a flame source of 5400 degrees Fahrenheit. Works under the worst weather conditions.
How it works:
1. Scrape tool with any knife to create small magnesium shavings.
2. Ignite shavings by scraping built-in sparking insert with a knife.

I've owned these in the past.I was on a kayaking trip and got caught in a bad rainstorm that I ended up on an island in Algonquin Provincial Park and my lighter was drenched,then I pulled out this tool and was able to start a fire:to keep warm,dry out,food cooking,and comfort.A real find for campers and unlucky kayakers.
