This sword set is very sturdy and comes with a good point and decent edge with good potential for sharpening. the handle wrap does not unravel like other, more cheaply wrapped weaves. A downside is, in order to remove the smaller sword, the larger sword must be removed (or at least lifted up a ways) due to the width of the handle and the design of the sheath. The shoulder sling is strongly attached as well with the ability to slacken or tighten the strap.

Are these swords not sharpened? I have this exact same type of swords but are Black but they came sharpened.. VERY SHARP!! but it would be cool to have a matching set in chrome & black.. but if not sharp I may not buy them
