About Saunders
Family-Owned Company
Harry Saunders of Readfield, Maine, started Saunders Manufacturing in 1947 in a back room of his home after a lifetime of tinkering and inventing things to make people's jobs easier.
His Yankee ingenuity and work ethic carried over to his son Joe, who started working alongside his father in the business after getting out of the military. For many years, it was truly a family business, with Harry's wife and Joe's Mother Edith, and Joe's wife Lois, all working with their husbands and serving as officers in the corporation. Joe and Lois's son Harry ran the company for many years before leaving the business world to seek new challenges.
John Rosmarin, who came aboard in an executive level position in 1982, bought the company from the Saunders family in 2005. He is now President and CEO.
Saunders is a multi-national company that is as a leader in the office products business, with a diverse product line. The company works hard to provide a great work environment for its employees.
Clipboards, Formholders and Portable Desktops
Saunders has produced the number one brand of aluminum form holders since 1947. Over the years, by working closely with customers to determine the needs of the marketplace, the company has created lines for medical, emergency and police personnel; business people on the move; students and teachers; and many other niche groups. The CruiserMate™, Citation Holder™, RediRite™ and WorkMate™ are a few of their most popular products. Also known as "The Clip Board People," Saunders has created lines of hardboard and plastic clipboards in a variety of sizes, shapes and colors. Custom services such as engraving, hot foil stamping and screen printing are also offered.
Rhinoskin Cases
In keeping with mobile office solutions, Saunders acquired RhinoSkin™ in 1999, a company that created the original Titanium protective PDA case for the Palm Pilot. Saunders now offers a complete line of cases for technology products such as PDAs, smartphones and other media devices. Look to Saunders and RhinoSkin™ to continue to keep pace with the manufacturers of mobile computing and communications devices with the newest and latest cases for technology products.

Saunders is the North American distributor for UHU GmbH, the premier international brand of adhesive products from Germany. UHU offers a wide range of products targeted to meet the needs of the academic, business, and craft markets.
