Tactical Tanto Folder
DescriptionAll of our tactical folders have machined aluminum handles with stainless steel liners along with a stainless liner locking mechanism and pocket clip. The quality of these knives is unbelieveable for the price. Literally worth 3 or 4 times what we sell them for.
This black tanto folder is almost and exact copy of the M-16 knife made by Columbia RiverŪ. There are some minor differences between the two; the bigest is the price. This knife is $60.00 less than the original, but the quality is very similar. The finger grooves on the bottom along with the thumb grip on the back side of the blade help keep this knife securly in your hand nomatter what you are cutting.
Blade Length: 3-3/8"
Closed Length: 5"
Blade Material: 420 stainless steel

Author: Roberto Alvarado (lokedout13@msn.com) This is an excellent knife. Very sturdy, super sharp. Great for multi-purpose use. The clip is screwed on very tightly so it won't get loose the way others knives do. Looks great too all in black!

Author: martin a nice inexpensive knife, slightly lower in quality than the other, silver-and-black Tomahawk folder I think. I carried it around for a year before I lost it. it felt a little light and flimsy for the size, but honestly i never had a problem with it, and the blade style was nice. it was a little bigger than what i needed for every-day carrying and utility.
if you're getting something else from J & L anyway then it's definitely worth the $9 or whatever it is now.
this is also the only knife i ever had to defend myself with, and it performed admirably for the purpose. it flicked out quickly and predictably and held solid when it really mattered. it also looks wicked and gives a nice solid /click/ sound when it locks open.
