I was forced
to use your Fox 5.3 on a couple of drunks at a 7-11 a couple of
months ago. A guy approached me accusing me of hitting his car,
which I wasn't even parked by. When I left I noticed he had his
buddy with him. I got in my car and the guy was coming up to me
with his hands clenched and enraged. I grabbed the 4oz. can of Fox
5.3 OC that I keep on the drivers side door and gave him a one second
blast. He spun and dropped like a sack of rocks. Your product saved
me from having to put my hands on someone (lawsuit) to defend myself.
The cop said Fox is the brand they use too! I bought this can from
you in 1999 and used it May 2004 and it fired fine. Ron

I've probably
bought $200 worth of fox lab pepper spray from you over the last
few years. I give it to all the people I really care about(daughters,
there college roommates, my boss and her daughters.) Last weekend
was the first time we ever had to use it. My boss was out trail
riding with her daughter on their Arabian horses. They came across
a lady walking a Large male untrained and aggressive Rottweiler.
The dog broke free and charged the horses. This dog was hauling
the mail and there was no question he would have attacked, at less
than 5 ft. Kathy blasted the dog with a Fox Pro Firemaster. The
dog just crumpled into a pile of howling protoplasm. I mean immediately.
Like he had been shot (maybe even better than if he'd been shot).
He never touched the horses. It was great, horses and riders were
saved from injury. The dog recovered and we hope is getting some
training or at least the bone headed owner will be more careful.
Guess I just wanted to say thanks and confirm that stuff is GREAT.
Ps say hi to Zoë for me. Thanks Al

My work requires
my wife and I to spend part of the year in South America -- we have
two little cocker spaniels which we take with us. Down there you'll
find maybe more instances than here where you'll encounter agressive
stray or looose bigger dogs, so I bought my wife an Omega stun baton
and a couple of two ounce Fox pepper sprays for protection while
walking the dogs. She had the occasion to use the stun baton once
and it worked nicely, driving off an agressive German shepard. Unfortunately,
she dropped the Omega unit on the pavement one night and broke it
-- I plan on replacing it for her. She then started carrying only
the pepper spray. Recently, she had a run in with another German
shepard, and one shot of the pepper spray drove him off. But just
the other day, a pit bull broke loose from its owner and tried to
attack one of the dogs. My wife hit him with the spray, but it didn't
stop him immediately. However, after she expelled the remainder
of the container in his face, the dog ended up on the ground --
he was tough to bring down. Our pup sustained only a minor cut under
the eye, which was treated by our vet. Thank God for the Fox spray!

Irv I wanted to let you
know that, indirectly, you saved my friend's life,
the taxi driver in Noumea.
He was attacked by 5
wallisian guys who wanted to rob him. Wallisians are
polynesian dudes, rather large and my friend is nowhere near that
size, but
he felt that someything was coming and he held the mace firmly.
When he dropped tham
and they refused to pay, one dragged him out of the car
and they all jumped on him, one trying to strangle him. He used
the mace,
just like you use a fly-tox on roaches and it worked exactly the
same way!
They all crawled on the ground screaming with their heads swealling
like
pumkins ( I quote ).
He called the cops who
came and I understand these guys were known to them,
they served them with a few swift kicks where it hurts and took
them in.
My friend was touched
by the product on the arms but although he had a
towellette, he said that the product kept on burning him for another
three
days. But he also said that he much prefered to be burning for three
days
than to be dead.
He asked me to tell you
this and thank you very much for simply ... saving
his life.
Once again, thank you
very much for having supplied us with such fine
products.
Cheers.

When
I order the life page six months ago to carry as I left for college,
you assured me that I would not be disappointed. Tonight, you were
correct.
I was on my way home from dessert with several friends when a 4-door
sedan attempted to ram our vehicle. The passenger of the vehicle
(intoxicated) exited the vehicle and attempted to strike me with
a tire iron. I used my life pager, and it saved my life. Sir, your
product saved my life. I am eternally grateful to your line of products,
and rest assured that I will be ordering a refill for my life pager
tomorrow.
Thank
you very much, Nicholas

Just
your average road rage incident. I was driving down Interstate 20
and I was doing the rules of the road game. You know, I follow the
rules and when someone breaks the rules, I get mad. One phrase sums
up my rage that day, slower traffic keep right.
I
had just pulled into the fast lane to pass about three cars and
a Dodge V-10 truck when the truck just pulls out in front of me
causing me to hit the brakes. Mad already, I just waited for him
to pull back over but he did not. I flashed my lights, blew my horn,
and thought that was enough. So, I pulled into the right lane and
passed him. I was sure he saw my salute as he started moving around
a lot inside the truck. He got in front of me and slammed on the
brakes. My Honda had no problem dealing with that, I just passed
him in the median and got right back in the right lane.
He passed me again then started matching the speed of the car in
front of
me. This was certainly aggravating but I stopped playing. I was
still so
mad when, out of nowhere, he darted in front of me and turned on
his turn
signal and pointed to the right as if to say, "Get off here."
Strangely, I
DID! We took an off ramp at 75 mph. He immediately started to slamming
on brakes again. I passed him, AGAIN. Then I slammed on brakes.
The Dodge might have horsepower but it had weak brakes (and more
weight!). He bumped me. All sound stopped and I felt like I was
in slow motion.
Here
comes the good part. I turned off the car, put it in neutral, pulled
up the emergency brake, opened the door, and got out my stun gun
in one fell swoop. I felt like I had practiced this a million times.
Never could I imagine what was going to happen. I was at my bumper
walking towards his truck as he was finally stopping. I was at his
window as he was opening his door. He had a small semi-automatic
pistol in his right hand, trailing him out the door. I put the shocker
on his neck without a single word and pulled the trigger. He went
straight down like he was having a cramp and then fell backward
on the road. 1.5 seconds max! I looked around and there was no one
anywhere. I pulled his gun out of his hand and threw it in the woods.
I pulled his arm, and his body accordingly, to get him out of the
road. I put him close to the truck and opened the door all the way.
I was in some kind of shock but everything was slow and clear. I
looked in the truck and I saw his wallet. I did think about throwing
it in the woods too but I had an idea. I took his ID and put the
wallet back. When they found him, I'm sure they would ask for ID,
when he couldn't find it, I bet he thought of me! I could have done
anything in the world to that man but instead, he just got a lesson
in first punch theory.
I am no Terminator, but I am going to hit first and hard. I could
have
walked right into a pistol shot to the head. I was stupid. I thank
you
for your product and I thank the Army for my brainwashed ability
to act then think. Just wanted to tell the story, everybody I know
has heard it twenty times or more. Anonymous:-)
Hi, I just wanted
to let you know that I ordered your 300,000v stun baton about 2
months ago and it turned out that I had to use it last weekend when
I was attacked by 5 guys 3 of whom were drunk. The Baton was barely
tapped on the arm of one of the drunk guys who immediately flew
backwards 5 feet at an upward angle and crashing down on the hood
of a car, at that point he laid on the ground for about 1 minute
before waking up and literally crying and screaming, but could not
stand up. Thank you very much, It was well worth it!!!!!

I thought it
might interest you to know that last night (friday) at almost 12:00
midnight I went for a walk around my neighborhood (I love walking
at night in fall/winter with a slight rain) and walked past a car
I thought was just parked on the side of the road. As I passed it
I noticed there were people in it so I walked to the other side
of the road. To make a long story short, one of the occupants of
the car was someone that has on several occasions tried to attack
me and several of my friends. Seeing I was alone, he jumped out
of the car and started walking at me asking if I remembered him.
When he got about 5 feet away, he started to pull back like he was
going to throw a punch. I took a step back, whiped out my baton
and cracked my taser a few times. I've never seen a man run so quick.
The car peeled out and didn't come back. Reece

Working in a
women's protection group I have been through a lot nerve straining
situations and I've had my share of injuries, but I'll tell ya that
what happened to me last week beats it all easily.
I was on my way home when the radio central called me up, they had
just received a call from a woman who had been beaten up so badly
they could bearly hear what she was trying to tell them. All the
other guys where busy so I had to take it.
"it's a shity job but someone's got to do it" and all
that crap.
Anyway I followed the SOP and called her up when I was outside,
to get some additional info. First of all to see if she is the one
to answer the phone, if she is alone, how badly injured she is,
if she has children with her and so on. The answers to these questions
will decide what kind of equipment I'll take with me or if I need
backup.
Yap she was alone, the good loving husband had gone to the mosque
and wouldn't be home for another hour or so. So I decided for the
standard first aid-kit and attached an omega stunbaton to the belt.
Normally I would be carrying a glock 9 mm, but since I answered
the call on my way home and we are not aloud to carry guns privately
in Sweden I was basically in the shit, and had to settle for either
pepper spray or the electrical alternative. And using spray in a
confined area without gasmask is not an option.
I rang the doorbell to the house she lived in and a female with
a badly bruised face opened the door.
She must have planned to move out for quite some time because she
had packed the most necessary things and was more or less ready
to go, and I couldn't be happier with that.
So I got in and grabbed her stuff and loaded with to heavy bags
we headed out for the car, we are talking about where I'm gonna
take her and I did the mistake of relaxing a bit to much, all of
a sudden I see something grayish in my right corner view moving
at me very fast.
I wish I could say that I had full control of the situation and
that what happened next was a calculated move, but that would be
stretching the truth to far.
My reflexes took control and I dropped the bags to the ground spinning
around almost in the same movement, I see a very large dark colored
man taking a swing at my face with something metallic in his right
hand. Somehow my reflex differentiates between a "normal"
knuckle swing and a knife stab and tells my body to raise my left
arm in a blocking/deflecting move above my head. Only a little to
early, and so I end up with a big fucking bowie knife stuck in my
forearm, I can see the tip of the blade penetrating the skin on
the other side. The adrenaline is streaming in my bloodstream like
jetfuel and I'm thinking something in line with fuck, fuck he's
gonna kill me, he's gonna kill me. Loosing he's favorite toy and
with me still standing there looking at him and with the knife stuck
in my arm he starts pounding at me with those giant fists attached
to he's arms. I remember taking at least 5 or 6 punches in the face
with only the adrenaline keeping me up before I can grab the stunbaton
at my waist. I'm pressing the button even before the baton is released
from my belt feeling, some of the paralyzing electricity going trough
my pants. I take I wild swing at his groin scoring big time as I
hit right between his legs, and this big fellow drops straight to
the ground without even making a grunt.
Just to be on the safe side I gave him a nice 10-second blast on
the neck and then I collapsed from the shock.
Since carrying a stun device is against Swedish law I couldn't tell
the truth to the police, I served them some bullshit about training
martial arts for 12 years(which is true not that it helped me shit)
but I know that I'm still breathing today thanks to my omega stun
baton. A very cheap life insurance indeed.
Thanx Irv, you have a friend in Sweden. Andy

I bought a asp police baton from your store some time ago when i
was on holiday and i have have carryed it everywhere with me since
i arrived home in England.
The months went by and allthough my line of work has no danger involved,
I began to think my baton was a waste of time and money. I was wrong.
Last weekend while walking late at night with my two friends we
were approched by a group of 4 males and 3 females who demanded
our money and phones. As my two friends stood looking shocked i
refused and the male with a big mouth jumped at my chest with a
lock knife in his hand. Having my senses with me I sharpely moved
before he did and quickly drew my 26" asp baton. My attacker
paused for a couple of seconds (trying to figure what was happening)
and then slashed at my face.
Thanks to my baton manual that i had read time and time again i
new what to do next. I landed a forward strike on his left knee
cap and with the help of my long 26" baton I managed to land
a reverse strike on his right knee cap. He dropped to the floor
like a sack of shit and his attension quickly went from my money
to his shatterd knee caps.
I thought it would never happen to me and my baton was a waste of
time but my story shows we will all have an experience of violent
crime but the real question is are you prepared for it?? (thanks
to asp batons and training manuals!!) from
Dave
