Samurai Sword Sets

We
have been selling Samurai sword sets for many years. Over the last 2 years
we have watched the manufacturers prices plummet. Most of this is due
to the large influx of Chinese swords such as these. In out opinion the
quality of the Chinese swords is about 95% of what was coming from Taiwan
but at 1/3rd the price. We know some sites are selling Chinese swords
at the old prices simply because most customers cannot tell the difference.
We have been around a long time and like to give a fair deal to our customers.
We like to pass the savings on to you whenever possible. A general rule
to go by when buying a sword set is if you are getting a 3 piece samurai
sword set with stand for under $75.00 then the blades are very likely
carbon steel. They will rust if used and left wet or in a very humid area.
This will not affect the average sword owner because these swords are
typically displayed and cared for like any collectable. The approximate
sword sizes in all sets are; Katana sword has an overall length of 40"
with a 27" blade. Wakizashi sword has an overall length of 31" with a
19" blade. The Tanto blade has an overall length of 21" with a blade.
All the swords shown have carbon steel blades and include
a wood display stand.
