Don't be fooled by the claims "Hottest allowed by law" and "Hottest in the industry" that are made by some on the web. This gives people a false sense of security. My sprays are exactly what thousands of law enforcement agencies are carrying worldwide. This should tell you something. We sell the same sprays to civilians that we do to law enforcement. Other formulas that show 15% and even 20% OC content are just hype. The % means little as does the SHU by itself. The "Out the nozzle heat" is what really matters. There is no way to dispute it, and no way to stretch the truth; it is what it is.
So don't be fooled by the numbers and claims, J & L sells the meanest sprays on the market, and we test our products. Although our products are rough on the bad guys, they are gentle on your wallet.
