This is the third generation of wearable Sapphire lights. ASP took the Sapphire to a new level of sophistication with the USB Sapphire. It has Nichia LEDs that provide a brilliant white 20 lumen light. A precision metal frame encases a polymer based Lithium-Ion rechargeable power cell. This unit may be charged via the USB port of any computer or on any micro USB compliant cell phone charger (BlackBerry, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung).
The battery indicator blinks red when charging. It turns solid green when fully charged. The side panels are laser cut from impact resistant Armorized GlassTM. They will not scratch, dent or discolor. An edge mounted two-position switch provides intermittent or constant-on activation.
