This is an authentic historical replica of the Scottish Sgian Dubh Dirks which originated in the early 1800's.
The sgian dubh is a Scottish knife that is worn on the calf of the leg (tucked into your sock) in highland wear "sgian dubh" is Gaelic for black knife inches and is pronounced skin doo. inches The commonest spelling is sgian dubh, but sgian dhu and other spelling variations are also allowable.

These feature a highly polished stainless steel blades. The ebony black molded hard rubber grip is accented with decorative thistle elements. It includes a secure scabbard with coordinating thistle details on the cast metal pommel and guard.
This set comes with 2 beautiful Dirks. One is 7 inch and the other 10.5 inch overall in length.
