Caller ID Controller
DescriptionHave you ever wished that you could control what someone's Caller-ID shows when you call? (Of course you have.) Well now you can!
Extensive useful applications for law enforcement, investigators, etc. Just imagine all of the possibilities. It's also useful for just regular folks who prefer to maintain their privacy, even when calling numbers that don't accept "blocked" calls.
The Caller-ID Controller is simple to use; no computer or any special equipment is required. It's designed to work like a prepaid calling card. Just dial the access number from any telephone, and you'll be prompted to enter in your PIN number, the number you want to dial, and then the number you want to appear on the recipient's Caller ID.
It even defeats "Anonymous Call Reject", *69 Last Call Return and *57 Call Trace capabilities of the called party. It is designed not to work on calls to 911. It works on calls to US and Canadian numbers, as well as to dozens of foreign countries.
Does the name also show on Caller ID, or just the number? In some cases both. Even though you specify only the number, it will automatically check the phone book listings, and if it can match the number you instructed it to display with a listed number, then it will often also display the name associated with that number. Cell phone displays typically show only a number and no name, but then they check the number against numbers in the cell phone's "contacts" directory and displays the name (or even photo) of the associated person. If that person has a special ring tone assigned, the Caller-ID Controller even fools the cell phone into using that!
The Caller-ID Controller also allows you to make digital recordings of your telephone conversations. These can be easily accessed and reviewed using only your telephone. (Be advised that it is generally illegal to record a telephone conversation without notification of all parties involved.)
For calls originating in foreign countries, there are now access numbers in over 40 countries.
Each Caller-ID Controller provides 60 minutes of total usage time. (International calls may have a higher rate, thereby reducing the minutes provided.)
