Great Baton however the foam handle offers a hygienic issue when dealing with blood/bile/vomit.

I bought this baton for self defense purposes so I wanted to test it out. From just seeing and touching it it is clear that the grip is durable and allows a firm hold. The baton itself is small and easily concealed.
The first thing I did was take the baton to a large tree in my yard and whack the tree several times as hard as I could. Where most batons would have bent and broken, the ASP baton had nothing but a few scuff marks. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the tree.
