This new model we have is one of the best we have seen. It has a checkered-rubber grip molded into the plastic. This gives you a secure grip when you are using the short end as a handle. This model also has a larger stop made onto the top of the side handle grip. The redesigning of this hard plastic unit has brought about some major improvements. I think this baton is wonderful, perfect for security officers as well as leo's (law enfforcement officers) it is not a light flimsy imitation it is solid thick and well built.
