it's just what it looks like. it's a short, solid, thin piece of stamped and v-ground 420 J2 [high carbon 420] stainless with a rubber handle permanently molded onto it. it is easy to make razor sharp but doesn't hold an edge well. it's a good knife but kind of a pain when you carry it on your belt and have to sit down. for $12 you can't beat it.

take out the plastic insert in the sheathe when u get it, it is useless and dulls the knife and makes a rattling noise

CAN SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY BOUGHT THIS KNIFE PLEASE HELP ME!
I realy need to know if this knife is relyable or not:

1:Does the sheathe realy dull the blade?(if it does can it be prevented?)

2:Does the knife bend?

3:Does it have a good grip on the handle?

4:Does it make a rattling noise?(if so how can it be prevented?)

5:I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS KNIFE!!!
can someone stop looking at "tantos" for one second and help me please! My life could depend on it one day (2012).

foster: it's a good blade, yes the plastic insert in the sheath dulls the blade but you can pull it right out and use the sheath without the insert and it's fine. this also solves the rattling problem. the grip is ok, i wrapped mine with some hemp cord. all in all it's a good little knife, but the smith & wesson HRT boot knife (swhrt9b) is probably better for your purposes.

Thank you so much nubting, im gonna buy 2 of these!!!
PS:me and knifes go together like guns and bullets.

dear nubting,

Just a thought:
could you use these as throwing knifes or would they just bend like the rest?(no, i am not a hitman) Also I mean to throw them at with no spin(cant you through all knives like that and not make them bend?)
PS:wow, i realy dont know much about knives do I.

foster what the hell are u going to honestly do with two of those knives? and do u really think a kn ife will help u in a 2012 catastrophe? which is not going to happen. u watch too much tv bitch

Author: Jordan Foster
*Sigh* I knew someone was going to say that...
First of all, knives are at almost the top of the list in survival kits.
Second, I do not watch too much tv so with all due respect,
FOOK YOU!!!
PS:If your not going to answer the last question I posted then stop critisizing me.

lol this is comical. i cant believe i even checked back here.

i wouldnt throw it, thouh you probably could, it seems a little light for that. just put it on your belt and hope you dont ever have to use it for anything, because its pretty impractical for antying but stabbing stuff and geting yourself in trouble with

i lost mine somewhere out in my front yard a long time ago
