DPS X-Stream Range Duty sprays consist of 2,3 and 4 oz. units which are the most common among law enforcement agencies. What makes our units so different for the competition is we call it the DPS "Range for Safety Advantage". Our 4 oz stream unit fires and amazing 20 feet!. The 2oz stream unit fires 16-17 feet . This is nearly twice the distance of most defense sprays. That distance can save your life! This is exactly why DPS is quickly becoming the spray of choice among law enforcement agencies and correctional facilities in the US and abroad. Too many companies brag about the heat of their spray when they can't hit the guy from 10 feet away. You have to hit the perpetrator for the pepper spray to do the job. Our spray is not only one of the hottest in the industry (Laboratory tested) but we can target the bad guy from up to 20 feet away. No other spray gives you this safety distance to separate you from the subject. Can dimensions are :
2 oz. unit-4 inch tall and 1-5/16 inch diameter
4 oz. unit-5-3/4 inch tall and 1-7/16 inch diameter
Our X-Stream Range sprays were designed as "ballistic stream" to give the maximum distance but many customers want the fog pattern because they don feet t have to be as accurate when they fire the unit. The "Cone Fog" pattern fires 10-12 feet.
Sensible, effective self defense

I live in a state that doesn’t allow concealed carry so I’ve chosen to carry pepper spray. I can count on Irv to supply me and my wife the hottest OC sprays and other less than lethal self defense options for reasons to follow:
The variety, types and sizes make it possible to be armed at all times regardless of what we are wearing. We keep a 4oz in canister in each car, 3oz, 2oz, .75 and .5 ounce if I’m wearing lighter clothes. My wife likes the key chain for her purse and the jogger .5 oz size for when she takes her walks. There is a larger size which would be perfect for inside a house, RV or boat.
Fortunately I’ve not had to use DOS for self defense, however, I did put a drop on my finger then touched the outer white part of one eye. That was enough to convince me that DPS will work for us. My eye closed involuntarily then the other half-way followed after about 30 seconds. Both eyes teared and things got hot around the outside of my eyes-I must have brushed some against the outer skin.
It’s nice to still have a self defense plan even in a state that takes away our right to carry.
Here’s an added piece of assurance to go with DPS pepper spray: Order the Smith and Wesson expandable baron from Irv. He has different sizes and I went with the smaller 16 inch that fits inside a cargo pocket, clips to inside if pants. I forget the model name, but you’ll see it on the website. If the pepper spray takes a few seconds longer to kick in the baton gives the option of warding an attacker’s off from a distance while waiting for the full effect of DPS to take over.
It’s peace of mind knowing that if words won’t work and less than lethal force is needed, you can protect yourself from danger, and get away from what could have had be permanent life-changing consequences.
